Environmental – air pollution and human exposure to harmful emissions (PM, VOC, PAH, carbonyl compounds, emissions of building materials), Indoor Air Quality, Composition and study of polymetallic nanomaterials with interesting magnetic properties.
PhD student Giannis Papadopoulos: Mechanical Engineering Diploma (UOWM). His research focuses on theoretical and experimental investigation of Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ).
PhD student Leonidas Zouloumis: Mechanical Engineering Diploma (UOWM). His research focuses on the optimal design of control systems in building applications.
PhD student Vassilis Kilis: Mechanical Engineering Diploma (UOWM). Student of the Postgraduate Program “Advanced Engineering of Energy Systems (ADVENS)” of UOWM, and research fellow on CERTH, Institute for Solid Fuels Technology and Applications. His research focuses on optimization issues, including LCA ones, and their application on building energy systems.
